E-booklet of good practices of Franco-German cooperation in the form of citizen e-journalism “Les jeunes webtrotters transfrontaliers”

The Franco-German project “Les Jeunes Webtrotters transfrontaliers” is a project carried out in 2017/2018 by the AMSED, the Kehl Professional School and other Franco-German partners. It aimed at reaching young people between the ages of 16 and 30, interested in the media through various workshops and outings that were organized in mixed groups made up of young Germans, French, migrants and refugees: (1) digital journalism workshops and citizen media, provided by Franco-German media professionals, with the aim of transmitting to young people a journalistic know-how; (2) awareness workshops to get young people to reflect on themes such as Franco-German relations, European values, equality, diversity, tolerance and civic engagement; (3) practical workshops of young webtrotters in the field, in their neighborhoods, in the city or at events in the Strasbourg-Ortenau area to cover and share their experiences on the web.

The project aimed above all at developing Franco-German cooperation, integrating and socializing young people of migrant origin or refugees in the Strasbourg-Ortenau area through a new concept – the digital and the media.

This e-booklet (document in French) brings together good practices resulting from the project and includes a global vision of all the activities by capitalizing on the experiences and lessons learned from the project as well as the added value of the project with a view to its replicability.
