Neighborhood Tour: Summer 2018

In this blooming month of July, AMSED is pleased to welcome 8 young EVS from Tunisia and Morocco. Their first week got underway at the CitĂ© Ampère at La Musau, where they were able to animate various educational and intercultural workshops such as the Arabic calligraphy workshops or the “henna” workshop.

The volunteers had the opportunity to film the general atmosphere of all the workshops animated both by themselves and by the partner associations of the neighborhood tour project, such as the Arachnima association.

The Journal DNA has also highlighted in an article recently published their efforts with families neighborhoods Strasbourg. We thank our local partners, the city of Strasbourg and the Erasmus + program for giving us the opportunity to accomplish such great projects! Throughout this summer, the European Voluntary Services will travel in the sensitive districts of Strasbourg, and make live great moments, and animated many activities in Hautepierre, Cronenbourg, and many others !

Indeed, the European voluntary services that we welcome, will participate all the months of July in the activities dedicated to the neighborhood tour with the socio-cultural center Hautepierre le Galet in the Hohberg Park in collaboration with the Arachnima -Art association and exchanges . A second week under the strong theme of “the fight against discrimination”. Understanding the other, and understanding oneself, through the initiative and originality of the educational workshops offered by the EVS, made sense under the flag of the fight against discrimination from an early age. These “five senses” workshops gave children the opportunity to use all their senses in DIY activities, painting, creating accessories and games of reflection and distraction.
