🗞️Seminar participants take a stand against fake news: international citizen vigilance
As part of the seminar âVigilance against fake news and the threats it poses to democracyâ, participants engaged in an in-depth reflection on disinformation and its impact on contemporary societies.
Through street interviews in their respective countries â notably in Romania, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Egypt, Lithuania and Italy â the young participants gathered citizens’ views on their perceptions of fake news, their relationship with the media, and how they assess the reliability of information sources.
These spontaneous interviews reveal a growing awareness of the dangers that fake news poses to democracy, social cohesion and public trust. They also highlight the crucial role of media and information literacy in developing critical thinking, particularly among young people.
👉 Discover their street interviews below and immerse yourself in an international exchange on digital vigilance and the defence of truth, led by young people committed to a more informed and responsible society.
