Web conference “Youth morale and international mobility in the light of the health crisis”

In order to understand the aspirations and living conditions of 18-30 year olds, INJEP is preparing to release the 2021 annual barometer on youth. A web-conference will be organized on Friday, January 21 from 10:00 to 11:30 am to present the main results of the barometer and to extend the discussion during a round table around the theme of international mobility.

Morale, employment, confidence in the future, mobility, commitment… more than 4,000 young French people aged 18 to 30 were surveyed online during a second year of health crisis that affects them materially and morally. As a result of the Covid-19 crisis, the focus this year is on the aspirations and state of mind of young people, their future plans and their situation on the job market, their access to social rights, their mobility and their residential paths.

On January 21, 2022, the following will be made public:

  • The results of the sixth edition of the barometer on youth conducted by INJEP and the Centre de recherche pour l’Ă©tude et l’observation des conditions de vie (CRÉDOC)
  • Issue 54 of the INJEP bulletin Analyses & Syntheses, dealing in particular with the morale of young people, who are strongly affected by the health crisis

The Youth Barometer is conducted annually by CRÉDOC at the request of the Directorate of Youth, Popular Education and Associative Life (DJEPVA) of the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sports. The National Institute for Youth and Popular Education (INJEP) is in charge of the scientific coordination.

The INJEP invites you to the presentation of these results in the presence of the authors of the study. This time of exchange will also focus on another salient feature of the annual Barometer: that of the international mobility of young people in the presence of Emmanuelle Pérès, Director of the DJEPVA and coordinator of the European Year of Youth, and Béatrice Angrand, President of the Erasmus+ Youth and Sport Agency.
