More than 40 young people and youth actors from <strong>Europe<\/strong>, the <strong>Mediterranean<\/strong> and the <strong>Caucasus<\/strong> took part in the project and shared their ideas on the topics of <strong>ecological transition<\/strong>, <strong>sustainable development<\/strong> and <strong>circular economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In different intercultural workshops and through interactive learning methods, participants <strong>exchanged, discussed and shared<\/strong> existing national and international <strong>good practices in the circular economy that have a potential to generate jobs in this new economical model<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During these 10 days, youth workers <strong>exchanged with local experts<\/strong>: Simon Baumert from Association Zero D\u00e9chet Strasbourg, J\u00e9r\u00e9my Oliger representing Oxfam Strasbourg, Thomas Desmartin (Maison du Compost), Delphine Gass (Association Tad&#8217;\u00e2m), Joakim Couchoud (Sikle Composters), Fionnuala O&#8217;Brien, project manager Zero Waste Project of the City of Strasbourg, Alexandra Lopez &#8211; lawyer at JuriEst and specialist in supporting creation of start-ups, Jeanne Barseghian &#8211; municipal councilor from the Ecologist Party, and <strong>visited the local practices<\/strong> &#8211; Envie, Oxfam and Emmaus solidarity shops, Citiz &#8211; car sharing, Cooperative Coopalim, Jardins de la Montagne Verte and the Magazin Zero Waste BEEVRAC.<\/p>\n<p>Following the many pedagogical activities of reflection, working in intercultural subgroups and exchanging knowledge, the participants collectively developed <strong>recommendations<\/strong> to address the problem of global warming, which they had the opportunity to present to the local elected official Jeanne BARSEGHIAN (Group Ecologists and Citizens).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KgqJ_4_K8lc\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This project led to the creation of partnerships and ideas for various innovative projects in circular economy, such as a start-up in 3D sustainable printing, awareness campaigns through training or youth exchanges and the the potential opening of a second hand store for clothes in Turkey.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Project Ideas\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" src=\"\/\/v.calameo.com\/?bkcode=00548993403fe8f540585#?secret=2mo0G4xBXC\" data-secret=\"2mo0G4xBXC\" width=\"720\" height=\"1019\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Besides the recommendations, the young participants created an e-booklet on employment niches in circular economy (according to the 7 principles of consumption) and a tutorial on the creation of a start-up in circular economy: both tangible tools improving Youth Work of the partners associated in the project but also of any organization working in the field of sustainable development and employability of young people.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"How to create a start-up in Circular Economy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" src=\"\/\/v.calameo.com\/?bkcode=0054899345ba6af46c7a0#?secret=QPNdu2nQl5\" data-secret=\"QPNdu2nQl5\" width=\"3556\" height=\"1000\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>During this project the participants had an incredible experience that allowed them to discover new ways of living, to develop a critical spirit, to interact in an intercultural environment and much more.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-4425 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/network.amsed.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/66676040_10158645958084867_3190702685615554560_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"476\" height=\"357\" srcset=\"https:\/\/network.amsed.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/66676040_10158645958084867_3190702685615554560_n.jpg 960w, https:\/\/network.amsed.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/66676040_10158645958084867_3190702685615554560_n-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A seminar organized by AMSED and supported by the Erasmus + program on the theme of the circular economy took place from 2 to 11 July in Strasbourg.
