A 10-day intensive training course on inclusive growth and youth employability

AMSED just organized a European training course that took place at the Foyer de l’Etudiant Catholique in the heart of Strasbourg from October 1st through October 11th 2014 and that was funded with the support of the Erasmus+ programme.

The training course gathered 37 participants from 12 different countries: France, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, United Kingdom, Portugal and Spain! The participants were introduced to a wide range of non-formal education activities, such as interactive capacity-building workshops and roundtable conferences with guest speakers such as Mr Christophe Taquard, regional correspondent of the Erasmus+ programme in Alsace, and Mr Paul Landowski of the NGO “Café Contact de l’Emploi”. The participants also had ample opportunities to discover Strasbourg through the “Photo safari” and a visit to the integration project “Le Petit Gourmand” in Cronenbourg (a so-called sensitive neighborhood in Strasbourg). Finally, the participants also worked together on developing new multilateral non-formal education projects aimed at promoting social inclusion and youth employability.
