Covid-19: Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis launch a multilingual and inclusive information campaign

The City of Paris and the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis, in partnership with the Vers Paris sans sida association, are launching targeted communication to people who have the least contact with official information channels: more vulnerable people and non-French speaking audiences.

More speacifically, several audiences are being targeted: those who are not native French speakers, people who are poorly housed or on the street, undocumented workers, asylum seekers, and more generally all those who get informed through things like social networks or whatsapp loops.

These people and the associations in contact with them can benefit from more suitable communication on different media and relay it:

  • The paris.fr and seinesaintdenis.fr websites list the resources available to associations and local intermediaries working with people who need help.

  • On Facebook and WhatsApp is a broadcast “Let’s say it! “, a campaign aimed at African diasporas.

  • On video, in almost 25 different languages professionals of health mediation and social support recall the rules related to the state of the health emergency .

  • Finally, journalist Harry Roselmack lent his voice to two educational animated films.
